I feel so lucky to be surrounded by the hills, valleys and villages I love. 

The area provides an endless source of subject matter. I have always enjoyed painting, particularly watercolour landscapes and townscapes, obtaining inspiration from the Pennine moors, villages and towns where I have grown up and further afield on my travels. 

I am constantly getting fresh inspiration from unexpected areas and I continue to try and capture this in my work.
